Humber College is now the new provider of the Real Estate Salesperson Program in Ontario. The new cutting-edge program delivered on behalf of the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) has now started. The program is flexible and will be offered online and in locations across Ontario. You can apply and start your coursework at any point during the year, without the time commitment of a full-time, semester-based program.
Get started here with pre-registration and complete the courses, exams and simulation sessions sequentially. You will have a maximum of 24 months to complete pre-registration.
Upon completing STEP 1, you are now eligible to register with RECO. You have one year to complete your registration from the time you complete pre-registration. Once you are registered, proceed to STEP 3: Post-Registration Phase.
To be eligible to renew your registration at the end of your initial two-year registration cycle with RECO, you must complete the post-registration phase. Complete the mandatory compliance course and then complete any two of the remaining 5 electives.
Before applying, applicants should understand and meet the admission requirements. The Real Estate Education Programs’ components and support services are delivered in English. Learners should possess strong English writing, comprehension and speaking skills in order to be able to successfully complete the program(s).
Learners are asked to assert they meet the English proficiency requirement during application to a Real Estate Education Program. Applicants must use their full legal name, as required by RECO for registration as a salesperson or broker, when applying to a Real Estate Education Program. A non-refundable $75 application fee will apply for all applicants.
